I was invited to Nottingham this weekend to attend at the ‘Notts Trans Picnic‘.
The organiser Jade along with Rosie and Lynda from the Nottingham police equality and diversity department made me feel very welcome. Jade kindly introduced me to everyone and promoted my book 'Sally to Shay'.
They had an open mike for individuals to have the opportunity to express themselves through song, poetry or even stand up comedy routines.
Food and drink was kindly provided and people were able to get together to chat and make new friends.
