The Quail Club Showcase

On Wednesday 21st August 2019 I was invited to Lincolnshire by the Quail Club organisers Lewis Button and Anthea Gamble to showcase my book 'Sally to Shay'.

It was a pleasant evening with poetry recites, singers and book readings.

I played the slideshow of my transition, answered questions and recited a chapter from my book 'Sally to Shay' The chapter I chose to read out was the final chapter written by Julie my partner. Reading it made me very emotional and the listeners were also moved by it.

We were joined by a good friend Racheal and her partner Stephanie who showed great support which was much appreciated.
